Back in 2017, I was challenged by Accenture Portugal to rebrand Crédito Agrícola Bank's logo. It's history is regarded as one of the most beautiful stories of the portuguese banks, full of tradition and values.
Since Accenture was renewing CA’s institutional website, the need of updating the bank's logo was also identified.

The circle element was the module for the matrix of this new identity. This geometric shape combines various elements in its expression such as union, movement, energy, natural cyclical movements and wealth. All are part of this great institution's genesis.

The stylised tree leaf was kept, an element that connects the brand identity to the idea of earth, prosperity, growth.
|
|
|
In order to take the exercise a little bit further, showing the versatility of the new shapes, other proposals were designed.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Unfortunately, this project wasn’t concluded. After being approved by Crédito Agrícola in the initial phase the project was put on hold with no further development.
