IV Centenary Don Quixote de La Mancha
This project dates back to my academic days around 2004. I think this was the first logo I ever designed and so it has a special meaning to me. This academic project taught me how I would like to approach branding projects. Research is as important as sketching.

It was during a research for this project, watching a Don Quijote piece on stage at the time, that I stole the crazy look from the actor and applied it to the proposal.
I came to realize years later, already in the job market, that this phase of projectual methodology in design is not always valued.
I tried to create in the observer an ambiguous vision of Don Quijote. Do we see his profile or his front? This multifaceted approach represents a Don Quijote seen by Sancho Panza and one who crosses the border of the real, looking the viewer from the front.
